7 Most Reached for Products! (Feb)

Girl, let’s be real. I use more than 7 products on my body daily. However, these are the ones that I always gravitate to and have never strayed from for the past 1-2 months. A huge deal!

These might be super basic but they’ve helped me look and smell like a human everyday, all day.

Physiogel Cleanser (60 ml, 94.50php)

This actually came recommended by my derma way back when I was 11. Quite similar to Cetaphil but better, it’s a really gentle, non-foaming cleanser that doesn’t leave my skin tight or dry. This doesn’t have any frills or other embellishments – no scent, no soap, no nonsense. However, it isn’t meant to remove makeup so it’s best for second cleansing. I am not sure if you can get it outside Southeast Asia but if you have access, give it a go!

Physiogel Moisturizer (75 ml, 574.50php)

Can I be cheesy and say that I have found the one that works for me? Two years ago, my aunt told me her allergy doctor told her to use this. I tried it, of course, but like a bad boyfriend, I moved on. I started using this again last January and I was filled with regret. Why did I even stray? WHY?! I highly recommend this for sensitive skin because it is unscented, non-comedogenic and seriously moisturizing. That being said, I usually layer a night oil on top of this to target certain skin issues like breakouts or hyperpigmentation.

The two are products of Steifel and are available at local pharmacies like Watsons and Mercury Drug.

Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist (150 ml, 550php on ebay)

So I’ve raved about this product in my haul but what can I say, I use it all the damn time. I love this so much, I think it’s my best friend. Okay, ’nuff said.

Missha M Magic Cushion

The BB cushion that blew me away by it’s cheap price but good quality… I honestly didn’t think I’d like it this much because I mainly bought it for the packaging. HA! It doesn’t have too much coverage and it isn’t very buildable BUT I love this for my perennial, no-makeup makeup look. It evens out my skintone and gives a dewy, natural coverage. I also love that it doesn’t break me out. I can wear the darkest shade (No. 23) everyday without a sign of a bump or rough patch. Win!

If you are new to BB cushions and have dry skin, give it a try! I bought mine at bhappywithme for 500php but it sold out. You might want to check Instagram if you want to buy it for cheap.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dollface (1350php)

When I’m on a rush, I’d skip everything except BB cushion and blush. Why? Because if I only wear the cushion, I’d still look like a corpse. This blush just gives me life and makes me look like a normal person. People love Blissful and Tipsy but Dollface will always have a special place in my heart. It is a blue-based pink that gives just the right amount of flush for my coloring (NC20-25) . I’ve had people comment on how rosy and pretty my cheeks are but it’s really just the blush.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue (gift)

I know so many people who love Light Blue and for good reason! It smells citrusy fresh and laid-back yet still has that elegant feel. It isn’t the most complex but it lasts a long time in the most humid places and the dry down is powdery beautiful. This is a must-have for tropical weather!

Baby Bench Gummy Bear Cologne (200ml, 87php)

While D&G is for interacting with a crowd, this cologne is for lazy days/nights in bed. I just wanted something cheap for lounging at home and this makes me feel like a natural woman/baby. I still have a lot of Bath and Body Works splashes but it seems that the older I get, the more I regress. I sniffed all the colognes in Bench, which gave me a headache btw, and this smells definitely the best! Obviously, this doesn’t last long at all but hey, it makes me feel so fresh and clean!

      1. Hmm..I haven’t tried iope. The Laneige one has little coverage, really dewy finish. I’m kind of oily though. It’s good for like an every day, minimal look ya now? I need to use a matte powder but since you have dry skin, it should feel great. Also it has spf 50 which is awesome!
